1) Order is Placed
You've just placed your order with LOTUS! As soon as your order has been placed, we’ll send you an email to confirm receipt. From there, our warehouse will typically process the order in 1-3 business days before sending it out for delivery.
2) Processed & En Route
Once our warehouse has processed your order and it is in the hands of our courier, we will provide you with a tracking number to keep you up-to-date. Please note: The estimated shipping date we provide is the date that your order is most likely to arrive. For reasons beyond our control, however, shipping is sometimes delayed or accelerated. We recommend you keep a close eye on your tracking number for shipping updates. As this is an estimate, we don't recommend staying at home to wait for your package. If your order has multiple items you may receive each item on different days as each item will have its own tracking number.
3) Out For Delivery
You're this close to a better night’s sleep! Once our shipping partner has your order on their truck, we will send you an email update. Our shipping partner will make a delivery attempt that day between 9am - 7pm for residential addresses and will leave your package if it’s safe to do so. If they deem the location unsafe, they will make a second delivery attempt the following business day.
Your LOTUS has arrived at your home. Go ahead—unbox and get comfy!
The LOTUS Mattresses are designed to help keep you cool as you fall asleep and remain cool through the night. The top layer of the LOTUS Mattress uses Arctic Ice open-air cell technology, which moves heat away from your body faster than traditional memory foam, providing you with a comfortable sleep without overheating.
For additional help keeping cool through the night, we recommend:
The LOTUS Arctic Ice Mattress Protector a water-resistant shell that uses PCM (phase-change-material) that cools on contact.
The LOTUS Canadian Birch Sheets, use birch fibres and a sateen weave which is cooling and breathable.
The 100 Night Mattress Trial explained
The LOTUS Mattresses is covered by a 100 Night Trial. That gives you more than three months from the date of delivery to decide you love it as much as our other Canadian customers do.
To begin your 100 Night Trial, simply purchase an LOTUS Mattress of any size from mylotus.ca
If, for any reason, you’re not 100% satisfied simply reach out to our Customer Care team. While they may have a few questions to ask you about your experience with the mattress, our Customer Care Specialists will walk you through the mattress return process at your request, and arrange for a no-hassle pickup and, where possible, donation of the returned mattress at no charge to you.
If you accidentally order the wrong size mattress, your 100 Night Trial gives you a free, one-time size exchange. Choosing to request a size exchange will void the trial, and make you ineligible for any further exchanges or returns.
Every LOTUS customer is eligible for one 100 Night Trial for their first purchase from mylotus.ca. Only first orders with a maximum of four LOTUS Mattresses are eligible. This trial is not transferable, and LOTUS Mattresses purchased through third-party are not eligible for the 100 Night Trial.
LOTUS Products from Other Retailers
LOTUS Mattresses purchased through third-party retailers are not eligible for the 100 Night Trial. Every retailer has its own return policy, so please reach out to the store you purchased from.
Box spring vs slatted foundation
You can use LOTUS Mattresses with most bed frames, but we recommend using it on a traditional box spring or directly on a slatted base with your preferred frame.
Why? Because both a box spring and a slatted base provide you with adequate support while ensuring the mattress can breathe. This is important for distributing body heat away from you, and wicking moisture out of the mattress so you can remain cool and dry through the night.
Slatted Frame with gaps smaller than 3"
LOTUS Bed Frame Firmness
If you're looking for a firmer feel, a box spring provides support across the entire bottom surface of the mattress, making for a more supported sleep experience.
For a softer feel, a slatted foundation will support you while allowing for more give, creating a slightly plusher sleep experience. Please note that if you use a slatted foundation, the slats should be spaced no more than 3 inches apart.
What not to do with an LOTUS Mattress
Foams mattresses can be very sensitive to environmental conditions like moisture and dirt. For this reason, you should not place the LOTUS Mattress directly on the floor for an extended period of time.
And while the LOTUS Mattress is durable enough for coverage by a 10-year limited warranty it can become damaged if it's not supported adequately, and should not be used with any base or foundation with gaps or spaces wider than 3 inches.
Slatted Frame(with gaps larger than 3")
Solid Platform Bed(no slats for breathability)
On the floor(needs a raised frame)
LOTUS Mattresses has always been made in Canada from the LOTUS Comfort Foam. Our unique foam uses an open-air cell structure to provide the perfect balance of comfort and support, control sleep temperature, relieve pressure, and eliminate motion transfer.
LOTUS Arctic Ice™ Cooling Gel Technology
LOTUS foam is unlike traditional memory foam. While memory foam sinks in the summer and feels firm as a rock in the winter, LOTUS Mattresses is temperature insensitive and maintains a consistent feel through every Canadian season. No matter the temperature outside, LOTUS foam responds only to the weight of your body while open-air cell technology enhances breathability and cooling through the night. It also cushions your body perfectly, providing that not-too-soft, not-too-firm, just-right comfort loved by many Canadians.
